If you have already attended our Restorative Justice Champions training sessions or have previous experience with working restoratively, then we’d like to invite you to attend our Working Restoratively with Young People training.
During the training, we will help you to:
- Identify what are some of the issues we need to consider when working restoratively with young people.
- Understand how Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can impact on life chances and how restorative justice may help to address them.
- Identify learning needs and explore strategies for successful restorative justice working.
This initial session will be facilitated via Zoom with a follow up practical skills session taking place face-to-face when safe to do so after Covid-19 restrictions have lifted. The skills session will focus on the use of arts and crafts with young people.

What is restorative justice?
Restorative Justice offers the chance for victims of crime and conflict to communicate with those who have caused the harm and share how the incident has affected them. Known to reduce offending and help people recover from crime and conflict, restorative justice is a way of bringing people together and building a safer community.
